Product Description:

It is a nitro-cellulose based air-drying filler clearcoat with superior filling properties, high coverage and polishing ability, which can be used in automotive-plastic and metal industries.

It can be safely used in the toy industry, on plastic surfaces, lighting fixtures (brass, bronze, etc.), stained glass and glass coating processes, as well as in single component clearcoat applications in the automotive and furniture industry. Since it is colorless and transparent, it does not change the color of the applied surfaces. Thanks to the melamine alkyd resin it contains, it is resistant to 80°C oven temperatures and will never turn yellow or crack.

 

Product Usage:

100 parts of Politek® Clear Varnish is diluted with 15-20 parts of Politek® Cellulosic Thinner and applied to the prepared surface in 2 single coats as recommended. Another way of use is to add 50 parts of Politek® Clear Varnish to 100 parts of ColorTec® Cellulosic Paint.
